I'm going to tell you 10 android settings that you should do on your phone 110%! This will save you a lot of problems in future. These settings are for privacy, security & safety. Because there are so many scams & phishing attacks that you should avoid them. 1: We all set lockscreen for security. But we forget to do 1 thing, the notifications that come on the lockscreen, sometimes your OTPs or private messages are visible on the lockscreen & it's very important to turn it off. Because if you put a phone on your table & someone wants to do a scam or phishing, without opening the lockscreen, they'll know what's your OTP or private message. So do this, along with lockscreen, you should hide notifications from the lockscreen. And you know how many permissions these apps take.

2 : Many times we download an app for something but don't use it later. But the permissions are already there. Now what you have to do is, if you don't want to uninstall an app, then you can toggle the permissions on & off. If the app isn't using the permissions, then you can toggle it. This toggle is basically for a long time, if you don't use the app, it removes the permissions. Always keep it on so that if you don't use it, the permissions of the camera or mic are still on.

3: Now let's talk about the 3rd setting. India has so many states & languages, there are thousands of dialects. But if you want an app in Bengali, Marathi, English, then you can do this natively. 4: We all use autofill, we have so many accounts & passwords, we don't remember them. So we autofill & it's not a bad idea. But the bad idea is, you don't add biometric authentication on it. But imagine if your phone goes into someone's hands & they access your banking account. In autofill settings, there's an option for biometric authentication. And you should definitely do that. Meaning, the next time an autofill password comes on any app, you'll have to do biometric authentication. And after that, the password will be logged in. So this is a very important setting, do do it. This setting can save your life.

5: I'm telling you. We drive a lot & our phone gets distracted & our concentration gets ruined. There's another important setting in Google for this. Your phone should automatically be silent while driving. In this setting, your phone automatically becomes silent using the phone's sensors. And as soon as you stop driving, it automatically turns on. So do do that setting while driving or riding.

6: Your phone should be silent. You might do this, but if you don't, then do it. Because notifications can be a pain sometimes. So do do 1 thing, you can turn off notifications on a granular level. So you can turn on the banking notifications of an app. Whereas you can turn off the Zomato Swiggy notifications. So that you save money & your mind will be at peace. 9;Another important setting is 3rd party app access. Yes, a lot of times, especially when you play games, we use Google's account. And when we use Google's account, there's always a prompt that says that we're going to give this information to the 3rd party. So what you have to do is, if you're not using the 3rd party app access, then periodically check it. And if you're not using any app & you stopped playing for a month, then remove the access. Do you know why this is important? If this 3rd party app gets hacked, then your data will reach the hacker. Meaning, nothing happened on your phone, but a 3rd website got hacked, & there was your information & the hacker got that information. And one more thing, if you decide to buy shoes, & you start seeing ads for shoes, it happens with a lot of people. There are 2-3 settings. 1st is location settings. Yes, you carry your phone everywhere. We generally close our search history, but we forget to close the location history. So wherever you go, Google knows your exact location, & according to that, it shows you related advertisements. But more than that, when you think & talk, how do you see those ads? So it tracks voice activity too. So if you see a person doing something, uncheck that so that you can't understand what you're saying. And you won't see the relevant ads.

#10: And finally, this is battery charging. There's fast charging now, & we all do fast charging. It doesn't cause a lot of problems, but to increase battery health, there are 2-3 settings. There's smart charging, adaptive charging. Essentially, the way you charge, it smartly charges by giving a pattern. And that increases battery health. So if you don't want fast charging, then you can keep it on adaptive or smart charging. When you want fast charging, then you can turn it off so that your phone charges fast. Generally, you don't need to charge 50% in 15 minutes. I want to know 2 things from you, which Android version do you have? And how many settings did you know from these?
